About

About

I created an album cover for Serenity's new album, Nostalgic Cosmos. Serenity's music, inspired by In Love with a Ghost and video game soundtracks, offers a serene journey through the night sky, capturing the enchantment of stargazing, sipping coffee, and playing video games from the cozy confines of your room.

After this process, I explored my ideas through a series of iterations in Illustrator. With feedback from my teacher, I realized that my designs lacked depth. She recommended experimenting with the arrangement of desktop windows and suggested using angular typefaces to match the pixelated style. Here’s a sample of my initial digital renditions:

After three feedback sessions and more that 5 iterations I finally came up with an aesthetically pleasing, nostalgic, and unique design for the front and the back of the album.
