To test my first prototype, I conducted a remote usability test with three users who were actively searching for part-time jobs. The goal was to determine if the new prototype was more usable than the original app. The test included two core components:
A Think Aloud Protocol script.
Two SUS questionnaires in Google Forms (one for the original app and one for the new prototype)."
It was a one-on-one test with the following steps:
Each participant downloaded the original app and attempted to apply for a job.
They completed the SUS questionnaire for the original app in Google Forms.
Each participant then used the prototype built in Figma to apply for a job.
They completed the SUS questionnaire for the new prototype in Google Forms.
I analyzed the SUS results and user impressions from the Think Aloud questionnaire.
